What You Will Learn
This course provides students with critical information on basic business acumen required for starting and running a business. This includes defining your business, identifying goals and opportunities, creating the proper business structure, understanding basic legal, tax and insurance requirements, fundamental accounting and financial planning practices, short- and long-term business strategies, marketing and promotion. Students will build a business plan during the Program as part of the course requirements.

Students should have command of the English language in order to complete written assignments. Students need to have an Internet connection to access the online course, submit assignments and complete certification testing online.
